Bio: My name is Nancy Gilbert Crowson. First of all, I am a Christian. I am also a musician, singer/songwriter and a writer. I am now retired and enjoying working on my music and writing. My utmost goal in life is to help and encourage people in all walks of life. I feel qualified for this purpose for two reasons: God has seen me through many difficulties in my sixty-plus years. And…because of my varied experiences I feel as though I have lived about five lifetimes in one! I have been a professional night club singer, a minister’s wife, a stay-at-home mom to two awesome children who are grown now, a divorcee, a grandmother and a middle-aged woman (I can’t bring myself to say older-woman) in the work force. I have worn more hats than most department stores carry. I have lived and loved, laughed and cried through many experiences and circumstances of life. And though I’m still learning, I’m ready to share the wisdom I have amassed thus far with others who may not have traveled so far on this road. Or maybe they have traveled as far, but need encouragement to continue until the end. Perhaps by sharing my experiences, I might divert them from some of the pitfalls and potholes along the way. And if they’ve already fallen in, I can say, “Been there, done that, have the T-shirt to prove it, survived it AND…so can YOU!” Join me now on this journey of openness, brokenness, forgiveness and healing.
